Haider Zafar - Film

My directorial debut BEFORE NIKKAH has been officially selected at the LONDON INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2024.

Written by acclaimed filmmaker Marcus Flemmings (White Guilt) and directed by rising talent Haider Zafar.

Before Nikkah tells the story of Sara and Isaam (Is), two individuals reluctantly brought together by the prospect of an arranged marriage.

Over the course of a single day, the pair navigate cultural expectations and personal desires, discovering unexpected connections.

The film’s deeply human and humorous narrative is inspired by the timeless romantic classic, Before Sunrise by Richard Linklater & Kim Krizan.
